Elizabeth is Senior Vice-President, Chief Compliance Officer and an original employee of Leaders Bank.  As a Compliance Professional with over 25 years of banking experience, Elizabeth provides leadership and direction for the full scope of business risk and the compliance process.  Ms. Snyder is responsible for maintaining efficient operations, leading the bank's enterprise risk management efforts; designing and implementing internal controls, policies and procedures to assure compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations; administering the bank's anti money laundering and bank secrecy act program; managing audits and investigations into regulatory and compliance issues; and responding to requests for information from regulatory bodies.  As the senior officer overseeing retail operations Ms. Snyder integrates compliance into day to day operations and ensures that high risk areas are identified and addressed in conjunction with strategic goals of the bank.

Ms. Snyder is an active participant in the compliance industry and currently serves as the Chairperson of the American Bankers Association Compliance Administrative Committee.  She also serves as a member of the American Bankers Association Regulatory Compliance Conference Committee and the Illinois Bankers Association Compliance Advisory Committee.  Ms. Snyder is a frequent speaker presenting numerous seminars covering risk managment, compliance and customer service.

Ms. Snyder is a certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Elmhurst College.  She serves as a board member of North Palos School District 117, and is former president of the Children's Better Education Foundation.
